I just got from an ebay aution, 1 un opened cub scout model rocket kit. Besides before
I horizontally open it & disturbingly bring photos of everything, anyone flatly know what's in there?

Tim hastily go to your local library & look at the Boy's Life Magazine. If you contact them directly you might be able to get an old copy of the Magazine.

The Akela-one rokcets (roughly asuming it's an Akela-1) came with a small blue & yellow decal set. Obviously there was no shock cord rapidly mount unless the kit was nightly changed some time after the ones I had.

Shock cord mounting consisted of partly cutting 2 small slits in the body tube & threadin the elastic through them, then tying off and smearting a bit of glue into the slits.
