I was just checking the Tower Hobbies site, and noticed they show the Dynaflite
Flybaby as discontinued, as well as the PT-19 kit. In fact, they currently show only three other kits.

I recently built the Flybaby and found it to be an excellent plane. I'm curious, does Dynaflite typically rotate kits in and out of production, or are they cutting back on kits? I seem to recall they once made a Spitfire kit and a Super
Cub kit as well. (wished I had bought a Super Cub kit)

Any other recommended giant scale kit makers?

I was a little afraid that may be the case. I hope you enjoy your
Flybaby. What engine are you using? My Flybaby is my first giant scale plane, as well as my first gasser. (Zenoah G23) It's a great flying plane.

Probably not a bad idea to stock up on a favorite kit now and then, especially at swap meets, etc., as kits become less and less available. For now, I'm working on a Lazy Ace, plus I have a Sterling
PT-17 kit in the box - I should be good for another season or two.

I have one of those Flybabys with a Ryobi engine on it that flys great. It's a builders kit though. I thought I got a bargain at 100 bucks. Eddie Fulmer

I am sorry to see the Flybaby discontinued. I had a feeling that might happen when I saw Tower Hobbies continually drop the price on that plane. At one time it was $85. I considered picking up another
Flybaby at that price. I have one that I finished last winter, but never got around to installing the engine and radio equipment. That will be this winters project, then I'll fly it in the spring.
