    Hi Jim. Thanks a lot!! Yes, that's my home. Its a farm about 29 kilometers from Bogotá. Our country is beautiful and friendly and very safe contrary to all press statements!! We must keep in touch!!

    Yes! I look forward to that! I was thinking that you can probably launch your planes right off that hill and then bring them home again right there. No field necessary!

    What a beautiful place to fly! I'm jealous! Texas is mostly small scrubby trees and brush, or deserts. Lots of thorns! I come from the mountains up north, and your kind of country is what I am used to, although your photo alone is MUCH prettier than anyplace I ever lived. Very Happy

    I would love to come and visit your country. I'm learning more and more Spanish living here in Texas, which I think will be important if we visit down that way.

    Unfortunately, no, I cannot launch directly from the hill becuase it is not smooth. Its full of bushes and quite vertical!!. However, I do fly on a site about 5 minutes from my home. Hand launch, of course, but I like peaceful slow flying types of model these days.. You would like it here very much. I went to Texas several years ago. I prefer other parts of the USA although flying fields are easy to reach in Texas. My email is edubarca46@gmail.com so we can stay in contact more directly.
