Hannants - How slow are they...

I put an order in on Wednesday night expecting to have the items by Saturday (all items in stock) thus saving me a trip to the local model shop. Tonight the items still haven't turned up. A phone call to Hannants reveals that they didn't even start to process the order until Saturday.

Now maybe my expectations are too high but when I order online I do it because it is convenient and *should* be quicker. Hannants is the only company that
I have dealt with online that can't seem to ship goods the day after receipt of an order.

It would have been quicker but less convenient to go to my local model shop..

I've ordered from Hannant's and got speedy delivery in the USA. I think they're good

I have ordered from them a couple of times over the last month and while delivery can`t be called speedy they certainly are`nt slow and I for one thank god they are around!! Darren

Oh mate - tell me about it. I wouldn't mind the slowness of delivery if they just told me it would take10 days to receive my order instead of the "it left us today should be with you tomorrow line..." They do have some good stuff tho.
On the other hand I ordered from Ashton Models (http://ashtonmodels.co.uk/ plug plug) at 16.15 one afternoon and the stuff was waiting for me at work the next day. And they were really friendly and extremely helpful to boot.

I have oredered from them and find their delivery is resonable. They seem to be able to deliver to my house in Texas a lot quicker than Great Models can.

I find they come through in 10-14 days. I'm in California.

Your expectations *are* too high. I like Hannants, but you only have to read the terms and conditions missive that comes with every package to see they have their own way of doing things. I don't think they're that fussed about speeding things up to suit us.
