So did i just ruin a bottle of Polly Scale because I used regualr enamel thinner? Was this my problem with the paint going on smooth? Is using an enamel thinner a no no with Polly Scale paints?
Oh, noooo...!!!
Thrillofthechase, mate; Polly Scale is an
acrylic type of paint. Therefore, you will
surely ruin the properties of that kind of paint by thinning acrylics with enamel thinner, as acrylics ought to be thinned with water. Somewhere I read professional modellers thin acrylics using mineral spirits, but I've never tried it for myself.
The few times I used Polly S paints, I thinned 'em down using either Polly S thinner or their Acryl airbrush thinner product, which is even better.
