I purchased a Supermarine Spitfire Junior Series (.40-.45 engine) about fifteen years ago. I was young, did not research anything about R/C, and the hobby store employee must have just been looking for a quick sale (as this plane is definitely not a beginner model!) I, of course, was completely unable to put it together, boxed it up, and didn't get back into
R/Cing until a couple years ago. The manufacturer of the Spitfire is a company called Royal Quality Kits. I am looking for information about Royal and any kind of instruction book for the plane. Your help is much appreciated.

Royal went out of business a few years ago. Royal kits were rebadged
Marutaka kits. Marutaka kits are available here:
http://www.hobbybarn.com/airplanes_marutaka_kits.htm

They have a larger Spitfire still available

Aren't the instructions on the plans?
